a hypocrisy of truth
it sucks so bad that truth as-is is almost never rewarded. you almost always have to tell a story, try to put it in some random framework and draw circles around to convince someone about your point. except maybe in the case of law where you need to prove your point by showcasing evidence. No one seems to think the truth to be positive anymore, only what they want to hear and how it would affect them. But as you know truth is straight up usually raw and making sense of it really needs a pinch of sympathy and empathy
